Wrapped Posts

As an end of year project, Smart Spaces and D2 wanted to create a summary of their years in the same style as Spotify do their “Wrapped” posts. I was given some facts and statistics to work with and asked to create one for each of the brands.

Working with the creative director, we started by creating a series of patterns for each brand, mirroring the repeating patterns used by Spotify. Once we had a range of patterns, it became clear how they could be animated, so the focus shifted to building an intro and outro and transitioning between the different designs.

I really enjoyed working on this project, particularly the Smart Spaces post in the lift section, where both the transitions and background reflect how a lift works. Another highlight was using the D2 logo to represent the number “2022” in their video.
